Status menu items behaving differently
I've been building a theme with the official Flavours release and worked further on it with Flavours 1.2 beta 1. What I'm seeing is strange. I couldn't quite get this behaviour with the NEOS-look alike theme on the store.
What I'm seeing is shown in the three images I have attached. One is when the Spotlight icon is pressed and one is when the Wi-fi icon is pressed - two different status item and two different looks. What's the white doing there in the outskirts of the pressed state? I don't remember putting it there :P
the third image is of when I did a spotlight search. Normally my text is white on the windows and menubar. but it appears to be black in this one. I haven't got a clue where to change that?
UPDATE.
The issue with the white stroke is solved - I originally put in a black 1 pixel stroke on the left and right sides only. But the stroke appeared white instead.
What I did was change the black stroke to be 50% transparent and now the issue is gone although the desired effect is a little less than what I intended it to be.
Now all there is left is how to change the black text entries in the Spotlight search results? I'd like the base text to be white like the text in my menubar and menus.

Thanks so much for providing feedback! Also, thank you for the additional explanation about the white stroke issue.
We are aware of the text color in Spotlight results. From initial R&D, this colours seems to not respect system colours and I think they were hard-coded in code. Anyway, we want double-check this and try other approaches.
With the rush of releasing the first Beta we didn't publish 1.2 Beta Known Issues list yet - we should be doing this on the next few days!
